SAT is a uniform test, extensively used for college entrance examination board in the United States of America. It was started by the College Board back in the year 1926. SAT has witnessed many changes in its name and the scoring pattern. Originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test, it was later renamed as the Scholastic Assessment Test. In the later years, it was called as SAT REASONING TEST, but now simply called as SAT. SAT is fully developed, owned, published, and is a registered trademark of the College Board, which is a private and non-profit organization, situated in the United States.
It is monitored on behalf of the College Board by the ETS, or Educational Testing Service. SAT operates with the intention to assess the student’s preparation for college.

The official SAT head office publishes an annual calendar to make the students aware of the SAT subject test dates and the registration deadline.
